Ohaaki Marae

Tahumatua meeting-house was originally sited at Orakei Korako and now currently located on the banks of the Waikato River via SH5 on Piripi road. This marae was named after an ancestor from the Homeland..."Hawaikinui-Hawaikiroa-Hawaikipamamoa"


Waimahana Marae

Rahurahu Marae is a hapu marae and also originally sited at Orakei Korako, now located on SH5 directly before the Mihi Bridge on the Waikato River travelling north from Taupo. This marae is named after WAIRANGI of ngati Raukawa's grand-son. Rahurahu married Whakarawataua of Ngati Tahu direct.


Mataarae Marae

Mataarae Marae is a hapu marae of Ngati Whaoa. The marae is located on SH5, just pass the Reporoa turn off and adjacent to the Reporoa Rugby Club. To assist our tamariki, the marae trustees provided an area of land to enable the establishment of the Reporoa Kohanga Reo.


Te Toke Marae

Te Rama Marae is a hapu marae of Ngati Tahu and situated south of the Ohaaki power station and north of  Wairakei.
